Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 30, 2026

1. Introduction

Heksync ("we," "our," or "us"), the maker of LoopCode, is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you visit our websites, use LoopCode on desktop, in the terminal, or in VS Code, or use our services. Our company page provides company and contact information.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Personal Information

We may collect personal information that you voluntarily provide to us when you:

  • Fill out contact forms on our website
  • Subscribe to our newsletter or communications
  • Request information about our services
  • Engage with our customer support
  • Create or sign in to a LoopCode account, or purchase a LoopCode plan

This information may include: name, email address, company name, phone number, and any other information you choose to provide.

2.2 Automatically Collected Information

When you visit our website, our hosting and security services receive request information such as your IP address and browser headers to deliver and protect the service. Our website uses the essential cookies described below. Optional usage measurement is described below and remains off until you choose it. We do not use advertising pixels or advertising cookies.

Website reliability monitoring

We use Sentry to diagnose website errors and sample request and page-load performance. Reports can include error messages, stack traces, route paths, browser or runtime details, and timings. We disable automatic collection of user identity, cookies, request and response bodies, headers, URL query parameters, local variable values, and AI prompt and response content. Browser session replay and console-message recording are not enabled. Sentry receives network requests to deliver this service; our configuration does not add analytics or advertising cookies. See Sentry’s privacy policy for its handling of this information.

Optional conversion measurement

If you choose to allow optional usage measurement, we use our existing Sentry connection to count website page categories and actions such as choosing a plan, copying an installation command, submitting a signup request, or completing browser sign-in for the desktop app or CLI. Only fixed event labels and categories are included. We do not add visitor identifiers or send names, email addresses, passwords, query strings, form content, or clipboard contents with these counts. This does not create individual visitor profiles, join a person’s journey across devices, or prove that an installation or coding task was completed. Sentry also receives network requests and technical delivery metadata to provide the service.

Optional measurement is off until you choose it, and stays off when your browser sends Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track. You can withdraw your choice at any time through a footer’s Cookies link. Changing the choice stops future optional collection; it cannot retract counts already sent. The essential-only choice made under an older notice is not treated as consent to this new purpose. Error monitoring described above remains separate from this optional measurement.

2.3 LoopCode and hosted models

LoopCode works with files in your project workspace. Relevant prompts, code context, and tool results may be sent to hosted model providers to generate responses. Local-first describes where the workspace and local tools run; it does not mean that inference is offline or that code context never leaves your machine. Your selected provider and its terms govern its handling of inference requests. We also process account, plan, payment-status, and hosted-model usage information to provide access and enforce plan limits. Avoid sending passwords, API keys, or other secrets in prompts or code context.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Respond to your inquiries and provide customer support
  • Send you information about our services and updates
  • Improve our website and services
  • Analyze usage patterns and optimize user experience
  • Comply with legal obligations
  • Prevent fraud and enhance security

Emails from LoopCode. If you have a LoopCode account we send two kinds of email. Account emails cover your plan: payment confirmations and reminders before a paid plan ends. Product emails help you get started and tell you about tips, updates and offers. Every product email has an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing stops them straight away; account emails about a paid plan continue. Emails are sent through Resend, which records whether each email was delivered, opened or clicked so that we can tell which emails are useful. An address that bounces or reports an email as spam is not emailed again.

4. Information Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We may share your information only in the following circumstances:

  • With service providers who assist us in operating our website and conducting our business
  • When required by law or to respond to legal process
  • To protect our rights, property, or safety, or that of our users or others
  • In connection with a business transaction such as a merger or acquisition

5. Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational security measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

We use first-party essential cookies to keep you signed in, complete sign-in from the LoopCode desktop app, and remember your privacy choice. You can browse, sign in, and purchase a plan without agreeing to optional tracking. Our current website does not use analytics or advertising cookies.

Essential website cookies, their providers, purposes, and lifetimes
Cookie / providerPurposeLifetime
heksync_cookie_consentHeksyncRemembers your cookie preference across Heksync and its subdomains. Contains no account details or tracking ID.180 days
sb-*-auth-token*SupabaseKeeps your account signed in and completes secure sign-in flows. May be split into several cookies; sign-in verifiers are removed after use.Up to 400 days for the session cookie, refreshed during use; sign-out removes it
loopcode_desktopHeksyncReturns you to the LoopCode desktop app when you start sign-in from the app.15 minutes

The preference cookie is stored only when you save your choice, lasts 180 days, and is shared across heksync.in and its subdomains over HTTPS. It contains only the notice version, whether you allow optional measurement or essential functions only, and when the choice was saved. Signing in or starting an authentication flow may set Supabase cookies; starting desktop sign-in may also set the desktop return cookie. Saving an essential-only choice does not authorise optional measurement. If we introduce other optional cookies, we will identify their providers and purposes and ask for a separate choice before using them.

Cashfree processes checkout under its own privacy policy. You can delete or block cookies through your browser settings. Blocking essential sign-in cookies may prevent account features from working. If your browser blocks saving the preference cookie, the notice may appear again on your next visit.

You can review and save your choice at any time using a footer’s Cookies link or here.
